職位描述（Job Description）

Purpose:
The?Sourcing?Component?Engineer?(CE)?provides?reliability?assurance?for?a?wide?range?of?components,?the?qualification?and?approval?of?components?and?tools?(where?applicable),?including?analysis?of?reliability?and?component?life?data,?and?by?working?with?suppliers?to?insure?they?understand?and?follow?the?Flextronics?requirements?and?specifications.?
Job?Requirements
Define?supplier?qualification?test?plans?(including?metal/plastic?tools?where?applicable).?
Identify?component?risks?and/or?concerns,?working?closely?with?respective?Sourcing?Commodity?team,?MQT?(Materials?Quote?Team)?and?R&D?team.?
Liaise?with?suppliers/FAE?and?supply?chain?to?establish?components/parts?specification?
Monitor?component?reliability?on?an?ongoing?basis.?
Monitor?First?Article?Inspections?(FAI)?with?R&D,?site?ENG?teams?
Collect?and?review?final?test?results?and?assess?qualification?status.?
Capture?all?relevant?test?data,?datasheets,?regulatory?information?and?final?qualification?in?a?component?database.?
Participate?and/or?coordinate?any?Failure?Analysis?(FA)?as?required.?
Liaise?with?Sourcing,?R&D,?site?SQE?to?audit/monitor?suppliers?to?assure?quality,?reliability?troubleshoot?production?yield?issues,?field?failures?and?supplier?production?problems?and?supply.?
Monitor,?guide,?and?support?suppliers?in?the?completion?of?relevant?regulatory?tests.?
Be?a?Subject?Matter?Expert?that?supports?component?selection,?component?substitution?and?risk?assessments?to?R&D?design?engineers.?
Support?Sourcing?commodity?team?in?cost?reduction?efforts,?product?enhancements,?target?pricing,?and?in?contract?negotiations?ad?hoc/QBR.?
Develop?and?monitor?that?all?components/suppliers?meet?all?parts?requirements.?
Requirements:?
Bachelor's?Degree?in?Engineering,?Physics?or?equivalent.?
3-?5?years?of?relevant?work?experience?in?a?Component?Engineering,?Design?or?SQE?role,?preferably?in?a?power?supply?manufacturin?environment.?Candidates?with?more?years?of?relevant?experience?will?be?considered?for?senior?role.?
Has?experience/knowledge?of?parts?in?terms?of?component?design,?quality?or?process.?
In-depth?understanding?of?reliability,?reliability?standards?and?component?failure?mechanisms.?
Knowledge?of?industry?regulations?(CE,?UL,?IEC).?
Strong?problem?solving?and?analytical?skills?
Excellent?communication?and?interpersonal?skills?
Able?to?propose?continuous?improvement?for?costs?saving.?
High?proficiency?in?MS?Office?(Excel,?PowerPoint,?Access,?etc).
