Functional?skills?requirements:
-?Academic?qualifications?pertinent?to?technical?and?engineering?aspects?of?garment?production.
-?At?least?5?years?practical?experience?in?clothing?production?planning,?techniques,?and?quality?control?including?costing?knowledge?of?factory?assessment,?patterns?an?grading,?production?techniques?and?inline?and?final?garment?quality?control.
Main?tasks:
-?Participate?and?provide?advice?via?his?/?her?own?input?in?preproduction?meetings?with?suppliers?where?issues?such?as?preproduction?planning,?assessment?of?suitable?cutting?/?sewing?lines?including?machine?inventory,?risk?assessments?(especially?issues?related?to?product?safety?e.g.?cords?and?drawstrings)?developing?CAP's?along?with?pilot?runs?as?necessary,?to?resolve?all?issues?prior?to?production?startup.
-?Responsible?for?inline?production?support?procedure?and?advice?on?production?techniques?plus?inline?production?control?throughout?the?production?process,?this?for?commitments?where?mandatory?inline?support?is?foreseen?and?other?commitments?as?discussed?with?RQAM?/?QAM?/?MM.
-?Working?with?the?merchandise?team,?assess?and?approve?the?production?sample.
-?Assess?factory?quality?process?and?quality?assurance?team?capabilities,?highlighting?weak?areas?/?deficiencies,?then?working?with?the?RQAM?/?QAM?and?factory?management,?develop?and?implement?CAP's?to?bring?about?lasting?improvement?to?the?suppliers?overall?performance.
-?Carry?out?factory?assessments?for?production?and?quality?levels?along?with?basic?safety?issues.
-?Ensures?that?agreed?delivery?dates?for?contracts?are?monitored?and?any?deviations?reported?back?to?the?production?merchandisers.
-?Communication?with?and?information?to?production?merchandisers?on?all?pertinent?production?issues.
-?Assess?suppliers?production?capacity?(down?to?PU?level)?and?advise?sourcing?of?the?total?calculated?output.
